Marine Access – preparing to serve a new generation of Oil & Gas operators

Published in category: White papers

The marine access market continues to change, particularly in the North Sea where the decline in production is bringing with it a new economic landscape. There a new generation of E&P companies is replacing the oil majors to extract the remaining hydrocarbons remaining in these end-of-life fields. To do this profitably requires a business model based on low overheads and a more agile way of working to deliver minimal costs alongside best-in-class safety. As a result, logistics is a key area that has come under the spotlight. With its experience and capacity for innovation, Damen is working with these new, stripped-down, energy groups to help them achieve their objectives via the development of complementary vessels.
